Connor is 2 months!

I can't believe that Connor is already two months old!  He definitely is a growing boy!  He went for his check up the other day and is in the 90% percentile for weight!  He was born at 7 lbs 6 oz.  Now, two months later, he is 14 lbs.

Aidan continues to be a helper around the house and does wonderfully with Connor.  The only issue is to work on him being careful and gentle.  We all have been enjoying time together and now that the sun is out, we are definitely soaking it up!

Believe it or not, I return to work in less than two weeks.  Time flies and I get saddened thinking about returning to work (no offense LGV).  During my time off, I have been enjoying spending time with my boys, nephew, niece, and my mom!  When the weather is nice, we have been visiting parks and sometimes just laying in my parent's backyard with the bouncy house all set up.  The kids love it and spend hours and hours on it while I get some peace and quiet...hahaha!  Connor on the other hand just enjoys laying in the grass smiling!

Great Wolf Lodge

Before I head back to work, we decided to take a mini vacation to Great Wolf Lodge. We enjoyed every minute! If you haven't been before, it is a great place for kids. They have tons of activities to keep you occupied for days. Unfortunately, we had to head back early because of a sick child. You know something is not right when your little one turns down a waterpark. :( Don't worry GWL, we will be back soon enough!

Connor is One Month Old!!

I can't believe Connor is already one month old. He is definitely growing fast! He is now 11 lbs and 21 inches long. Connor has set into a routine (as good as you can get at one month old) and thankfully we have not lost too much sleep! We are thankful to say that he loves to sleep, just like his daddy! Heehee.

As you can see he is a growing boy as the first outfit is already too small (even if it says 3 months). Who actually makes the decision of what makes a size 3 months anyway? After the first changing of clothes, you can tell he got mad! Sorry!

Aidan a Bike Rider!!!

I do have to say it is so very weird to not be working when everyone else I know is at work. I have been enjoying my time off now that I am finally feeling better and functioning. My time with my kids are precious and I love every minute!

Today we got a few hours of sunlight and ventured out into our neighborhood to get some Vitamin D. Aidan insisted on riding his big boy bike that his grandparents got for him over Christmas. To my surprise, he actually was pedaling and riding his bike completely on his own! I can't believe how fast Aidan is growing up. It is like he grew up overnight. Aidan is pretty successful riding his bike on his own on leveled pathways, but hills are still quite a challenge and probably will be for a while. Regardless, I was one proud Mama!

Welcome Baby Connor!

While it has been two and a half weeks since Baby Connor has joined our family, life has been kind of crazy! Unlike my first post birth experience with Aidan, I hit a few rough patches in my recovery. Thankfully, I am now feeling better and am back to my normal self! Thank goodness! I guess I lucked out the first time around with such an easy experience post birth!

Connor was born Feb. 26th at 5:33am weighing 7 lbs 6 oz. and 19 1/2 inches long. I totally thought Connor was going to be an 8 pounder, but I guess I was wrong! We are all doing well and Aidan has blossomed into this big brother! He is wanting to do EVERYTHING himself and this has been helpful at times, other times - it has created more of a mess, but hey, he is trying! :)

Thanks for all the help that I have received from friends and family! I couldn't have done it without you all!

Snow Days

While I do not want to make up any snow days, this was a nice unexpected week off from work. I guess it could not come at a better time since I have not been feeling all that well. This extra week provided some extra time to start cleaning out the room that will become the new baby brother's room. I have definitely been slacking as I feel that I do not have much to get ready. However, I have found that is completely untrue! Oh well!

With some extra family time, we spent pretty everyday outside eating the snow, sledding in the snow, and making snow angels! Aidan is blessed to live so closely to his cousins that he had a blast not only with his mommy and daddy, but got to spend a lot of time with his cousins! How he loves them all!
